About us

How We Came to Be

Our story began in a Santa Monica studio. With a small supply of essential oils, natural botanicals and a view of Santa Catalina–one of the islands that inspired our company name—we set off to craft our first products. Our mission was to bring fragrance and experiences from around the world, home. Throughout our travels, we are often reminded how local plants make their way into the homes, beauty products, and everyday lives of the people we meet. In our case, that fascination turned into passion, and ultimately a company, when we found that behind many of those plants and rituals are benefits, efficacies and wonders that have been skillfully passed down from generation to generation. Year’s later, we’re still at it – relying on plant-based formulation and inspiration to turn the everyday, into the extraordinary.

We value quality craftsmanship, ingredients, and you. We infuse everyday moments – washing hands, creating an ambiance with fragrance, cleaning the countertop, and taking a shower – with responsibly formulated products.

Return Policy

If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we are happy to accept returns on UNOPENED AND UNUSED items only, within 14 days of the delivery date of your order. For sanitary reasons, we are not able to accept returns on opened, used or sampled items. Due to the special and limited nature of this sale, we are unable to offer exchanges for different or additional items.

RETURNS

To initiate a return, please email CS@archipelago-usa.com with the following information:

An Archipelago customer service associate will respond with a Return Authorization Number and address to where the merchandise may be returned. To prevent damages in transit, please ship the item(s) back in the original packaging including the Return Authorization Number and the original Packaging Slip. Once the item(s) is received in an unopened and saleable condition, a refund in the original form of payment will be issued. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs through the carrier of their choice. Original shipping costs will not be refunded.

DAMAGES / MIS-SHIPMENTS

In the case that your item(s) arrived damaged or was incorrectly shipped, please email CS@archipelago-usa.com with the following information within 14 days of the delivery date of your order:

Archipelago will respond with a Return Authorization Number and return shipping label listing the address to where the merchandise should be returned (if applicable). To prevent damages in transit, please ship the item(s) back in the original packaging including the Return Authorization Number and the original Packaging Slip. Once the item(s) is received, a refund in the original form of payment will be issued. For damages and mis-ships, customers will not be responsible for any return shipping costs.
